Pastoral Critical Incident Response (PCIR) provides emergency support to local school communities during critical incidences such as bushfires and sudden deaths.

YouthCARE's PCIR Chaplains are highly qualified and undergo rigorous, specialised training so that those in need receive the highest level of support possible.

They work in teams alongside the Department of Education and the State Welfare Emergency Committee (SWEC) to help people affected by situations that put them at risk of trauma.
