TAMSYN CULLINGFORD
YouthCARE Chief Executive Officer

Tamsyn is an experienced leader, having spent over ten years in leadership roles in the public healthcare sector in Western Australia and Queensland, including in-project management, change management, financial recovery, and operations management. She has a strong interest in innovation, policy and corporate governance, and has achieved significant success across several organisations in major transformation, policy development and strategy execution.

Tamsyn loves working with people, especially those who are at risk or disadvantaged. She is a skilled advocate and communicator, who enjoys the challenges of navigating complex systems, relationships, and issues

DEAN CADDY
YouthCARE Chief Operating Officer

As a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Dean has committed his extensive 20-year career to developing and maintaining a research-based approach to seeing organisations and teams thrive through strong organisational leadership, finance management, and strategy development and implementation.

Dean is an ordained Pastor with the Australia Christian Churches and has worked with teams in public education, churches and non-for-profit sectors. He is passionate about providing strong, personable, strategic leadership to enable teams to work collaboratively and organisations to remain relevant in a constantly changing society.

ROGER COETZER
YouthCARE Chief Financial Officer

Roger brings more than 20 years’ experience to YouthCARE culminating in a senior leadership position at one of Australia’s leading banks. As a seasoned certified practitioner, facilitator and director, Roger is widely known for his ability and experience in building high performance teams and the practical implementation of governance principles and change management.

With extensive knowledge and experience in small business as well as leadership across the corporate landscape, Roger brings a balance of strategic thinking and entrepreneurship to the CFO role.

SHELLEY MWENDA
Head of CVE

As a supportive and experienced leader who understands and champions Christian Values Education (CVE), Shelley is guided by her values and the principles of the YouthCARE mission.

The depth and quality of the relationships built and established over Shelley’s 6 years at YouthCARE reflect her personal values and depth of care for the volunteer CVE team and her team of Field Officers.

Shelley’s passion, determination and drive is evident as she works to increase the presence and positive impacts of Christian Values Education programs throughout WA schools.

DARLENE HERBERT
Head of Training, Innovation, Partnerships and Programs

Darlene’s wealth of experience in leadership, management, pastoral care, and community services, along with her 22 years with YouthCARE makes her an incredible asset to our senior management team.

In her multi-faceted role, Darlene prioritises relationship-building and people development to amplify the impact and reach of YouthCARE programs throughout WA school communities.

LIESL MAHOOD
Head of Pastoral Services

With rich experience in corporate services management along with valuable time spent in school environments as a chaplain, Liesl leads the pastoral services team with compassion and strong leadership.

Liesl’s deep care for people and drive to see them succeed, coupled with qualifications in psychology, management and counselling, enhances YouthCARE’s services throughout WA school communities.

MARLON FORRESTER
Head of Marketing and Communications

Genuine connection is the key to effective marketing and communications and over the last three decades, Marlon has built a career on meeting people at their point of need and connecting them to effective solutions.

Spanning the corporate, enterprise and SME landscape, Marlon has developed and executed a range of marketing strategies and executions for stakeholders and clients across both public and commercial sectors. As an engaging speaker, presenter and relationship builder, Marlon develops and enables teams of creatives and communications specialists to represent and promote the heart and stories of growing organisations.
